What is Litmus?

The blog feed says nothing; Litmus's real changelog sits undated in a separate scrape.

Two sources sit under this product and they do not agree. The dated feed is a deliverability and lifecycle education blog — footers, rebrands, preference centres, birthday sends, holiday prep — and announces no product change; one entry even carries the rebrand article's excerpt instead of its own, a scrape defect. The undated rows are the actual Litmus release archive: Email Guardian, Integrated Insights, Litmus Personalize, Litmus Assistant, and two dozen smaller Builder, Proof, and testing releases.

What is MailerLite?

MailerLite is teaching agents to run campaigns, with the sending guardrails baked in.

MailerLite is shipping across three fronts at once. The Simple Editor gained code blocks, video embeds, per-heading font sizes and a full colour picker; any automation step can now be copied and pasted, including incomplete ones; and e-commerce triggers grew variant-level targeting. Running alongside that is a distinct agent track - an installable email marketing skill for Claude, Cursor and around 70 other tools, followed by a listing in the ChatGPT app directory.

The blog feed says nothing; Litmus's real changelog sits undated in a separate scrape.

◆ Current state

Two sources sit under this product and they do not agree. The dated feed is a deliverability and lifecycle education blog — footers, rebrands, preference centres, birthday sends, holiday prep — and announces no product change; one entry even carries the rebrand article's excerpt instead of its own, a scrape defect. The undated rows are the actual Litmus release archive: Email Guardian, Integrated Insights, Litmus Personalize, Litmus Assistant, and two dozen smaller Builder, Proof, and testing releases.

◆ Where it's heading

Read from the release archive rather than the blog, Litmus has moved outward from pre-send rendering QA in three directions: analytics that join ESP performance data to its own engagement data, open-time personalization acquired with Kickdynamic, and generative drafting inside the editor. The in-ESP testing integrations — Klaviyo, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Intilery — are the same capability extended market by market. Apple's Mail Privacy Protection forced a run of measurement-integrity work that the later reporting features depend on.

◆ Prediction

Because the archive carries no dates, ordering and recency are unreadable and no confident call on the next release is available from this feed. What can be said is that the analytics and personalization lines each accumulated follow-on releases after their originating launch, so further work on those two surfaces is the pattern the entries support.

6.3

MailerLite is teaching agents to run campaigns, with the sending guardrails baked in.

◆ Current state

MailerLite is shipping across three fronts at once. The Simple Editor gained code blocks, video embeds, per-heading font sizes and a full colour picker; any automation step can now be copied and pasted, including incomplete ones; and e-commerce triggers grew variant-level targeting. Running alongside that is a distinct agent track - an installable email marketing skill for Claude, Cursor and around 70 other tools, followed by a listing in the ChatGPT app directory.

◆ Where it's heading

Two arcs are moving in parallel. The editor and automation work is convergence: the Simple Editor is being built toward the capability of the Drag and Drop and Nebula builders rather than kept deliberately minimal. The agent track is newer and shaped differently - MailerLite is shipping an opinionated policy about how an agent may send mail, not just an access path to the API.

◆ Prediction

Variant triggers are live on Wix with BigCommerce, Shopify, PrestaShop, WooCommerce and Shoper named as pending, so those are the next obvious landings. On the agent side the entries leave open whether the skill's sending constraints stay advisory or get enforced server-side.
