Model providers are being wired directly into the AI helper alongside it. Security remains constant across all three branches, with 44 security items in the 3.0 beta alone.

Expect the MCP tool surface to widen in the next 3.0 beta, since the first pass already moved past read-only lookups into course authoring and review. Whether 3.0 becomes the supported line or 2.0 keeps taking patches is the question the tags themselves do not answer.

IXL is building LevelUp into the measurement layer districts already buy elsewhere. Norming it nationally makes its scores comparable to dedicated benchmark assessments; shortening the ELA form and adding an on-demand Snapshot attacks the other constraint, which is that benchmark testing happens on a fixed calendar. Practice content and assessment are being knitted into one purchase rather than sold as separate products.

Expect Snapshot results to be wired back into IXL's recommendations and reporting, so a mid-cycle check feeds the practice assignments rather than just producing a score.
