What is Intuit Intelligence?

QuickBooks is rebuilding the bank feed around AI prediction — and moving accountants onto a new suite.

Intuit's QuickBooks changelog has been almost entirely a bank-feed reconstruction for two months: prediction on both money-in and money-out, confidence badges, match warnings, transfer disambiguation, and Class/Location autofill. Alongside it, reconciliation tooling got real repair work — Undo Reconciliation opened to Primary Admins and the beginning-balance Discrepancy Report was rebuilt to name who changed what. The newest entry moves firms off QuickBooks Online Accountant onto Intuit Accountant Suite by default.

What is Stigg?

Stigg is expanding from entitlements into contracts and customer-side usage governance

Stigg is building out the parts of monetization that sit either side of the pricing engine. Contract Management enters beta to pull bespoke terms out of signed PDFs and CRM records, Usage Governance lets a customer's own admins allocate consumption internally, and the credits system picked up overages at GA, cost previews and per-call credit accounting.

Intuit Intelligence vs Stigg: editorial side-by-side

I6.3

QuickBooks is rebuilding the bank feed around AI prediction — and moving accountants onto a new suite.

◆ Current state

Intuit's QuickBooks changelog has been almost entirely a bank-feed reconstruction for two months: prediction on both money-in and money-out, confidence badges, match warnings, transfer disambiguation, and Class/Location autofill. Alongside it, reconciliation tooling got real repair work — Undo Reconciliation opened to Primary Admins and the beginning-balance Discrepancy Report was rebuilt to name who changed what. The newest entry moves firms off QuickBooks Online Accountant onto Intuit Accountant Suite by default.

◆ Where it's heading

Two arcs are converging. The bank feed is being rebuilt so the AI states its confidence and refuses to guess when history says a transaction should be matched — trust scaffolding around prediction, not just more prediction. The accountant surface is being repackaged from a client list into a practice hub with Work, Firm hub, and Books Close as first-class destinations. Intuit is positioning QuickBooks as the place the close happens, not the place the ledger lives.

◆ Prediction

Expect the confidence-badge and explanation pattern to spread from the bank feed into reconciliation and Books Close, and expect the QBOA switch-back escape hatch to quietly disappear once migration volume settles.

Stigg is expanding from entitlements into contracts and customer-side usage governance

◆ Current state

Stigg is building out the parts of monetization that sit either side of the pricing engine. Contract Management enters beta to pull bespoke terms out of signed PDFs and CRM records, Usage Governance lets a customer's own admins allocate consumption internally, and the credits system picked up overages at GA, cost previews and per-call credit accounting.

◆ Where it's heading

The centre of gravity is moving from "what is this customer entitled to" toward "how is that entitlement negotiated, allocated and predicted". Credits work in particular keeps adding ways to see cost before it is incurred, which is what usage-based pricing needs before enterprises will accept it.

◆ Prediction

Expect Contract Management to leave beta wired into the Salesforce and Zuora integrations, so a negotiated term flows into entitlements without a manual step.
