Adapty
Adapty closes its old paywall builder and sells the annual plan as twelve payments
A side-by-side editorial comparison of GnuCash and Purchasely — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
GnuCash 5.17 is another bugfix list, with a real capital-gains fix tucked inside.
GnuCash 5.17 continues the 5.x stable series, and the announcement again leads with numbered bug reports closed since the previous release. The notable work sits further down: the Show Lots dialog now handles stock splits so capital gains use the correct basis, transactions voided without a reason can now be unvoided, and charts gain global preferences and clearer tooltips. AqBanking import can also bring in pending transactions.
Purchasely 6.2 lets apps send their own events and open campaigns from them
Purchasely is an SDK for in-app subscriptions and paywalls. Version 6.2 lets an app send its own business events, declared in the Console, then trigger a campaign from one or track it from a Screen action as a conversion KPI. Every purchase is now linked to the paywall, placement, campaign and A/B test that started it, and audiences can see active and expired subscriptions, including those bought on the web. The release has no breaking API changes, but iOS servers reading appAccountToken to identify users must change, because that field now carries a per-purchase UUID.

The rhythm holds at about one release per quarter, and improvements continue to arrive inside bugfix lists rather than as announced features. Chart interaction has become the most active area in this release, with several preferences added at once. Nothing here points to a 6.x line. This is a mature application working through its backlog steadily.
Expect 5.18 around the end of the year, following the quarterly pattern and last December's release. The entries give no sign of a major version.

After the 6.0 reset and 6.1's web-to-app redemption, the SDK is moving from presenting paywalls toward deciding when they appear and measuring what they did. Custom Events supply the trigger and the KPI, purchase attribution closes the loop back to the paywall, and subscription visibility across web and app feeds the targeting.
Custom Events are described per platform with some attributes iOS-only, so expect those counters to reach Android. Attribution by paywall also makes Console reporting on campaign and A/B results the natural next area, though the entries do not state it.
