That follows the agent moving into the web app as a chat panel on every incident, and retrospective templates whose AI blocks draft from incident data, Slack and call transcripts with every prompt and source visible. The on-call side is quieter: a sidebar widget, 24-hour time, a customizable alerts table, and a one-command setup that pages your phone to prove it worked.

Gitea is building out CI to the point where workflows are an instance-level asset, not a per-repository file, and the security fixes track that expansion: denying fork-PR cross-repo access through a collaborative owner, restricting OAuth introspection to the issuing client, closing private org membership leakage through public_members. Each is a permission boundary that the broader Actions and API surface put under new pressure.
Expect the 1.27 line to reach stable with the reusable-workflow breaking change intact, and further access-control fixes as owner-level and global workflows meet real multi-tenant instances.

Rootly is building an agent that does the first pass of an investigation rather than writing it up afterward. The consistent design choice is auditability — read-only connections, nothing retained, prompts and sources shown inside the retrospective draft — which is the precondition for letting software touch a live incident. Syncing the Cortex catalog points the same way: the agent reasons from current service ownership instead of a stale wiki.
Expect evidence gathering to start producing a ranked hypothesis or a suggested next action, since the connectors now cover everything a human would read during first triage.
