GitHub is building an identity trail around agent-era code: who pushed, who prompted, who pays.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of FreshRSS and Teable — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
FreshRSS 1.30.1 adds more security patches and points users to its rolling edge channel.
FreshRSS has moved into a security-first phase. 1.30.0 blocked local-network fetches by default, and 1.30.1 follows with more patched attack scenarios plus fixes to Retry-After and HTTP 410 handling. Small feature work continues alongside, such as a per-feed option for the CLI refresh script.
Teable is turning its no-code database into a place to host AI agents, and now gives admins control over the compute.
Teable ships near-daily releases, and most of the weight now sits in the AI layer: sandboxes for AI chat, the app builder, IM bots and routines; scheduled tasks that can pick a model tier; and Solution templates that activate routines automatically. The underlying database still gets steady fixes to link fields, lookups and computed fields. Integrations gained multi-account support, so actions run against the account you chose.

Each release now leads with security, and the project keeps steering users toward the edge rolling-release channel for faster patches. Feature work keeps growing in two directions: fetch behavior that is polite to publishers (Retry-After, 410, 429) and operator tooling on the command line (purge, SQLite export, per-feed refresh).
Expect more 1.30.x security point releases, with the edge channel pushed harder as the default advice. The next major release will likely add more search, filtering and CLI options, as in every recent major.

The product is moving from a spreadsheet-style database with AI features toward a hosted runtime for agents and automations, with the operational controls that requires: per-workload sandbox resources, maintenance pauses, audit logs and sign-in protection. The admin and security work is aimed at self-hosted and business customers who need to govern AI workloads, not just switch them on.
Expect more admin controls for AI workloads, such as quotas, usage visibility and per-routine limits, along with deeper Solution templates that bundle routines and integrations. The release cadence suggests these arrive within weeks.
