What is Fountain?

Cue stops being confined to Fountain and reaches the tools where the work happens.

Seven updates published together on 20 August, spanning the I-9 Center, Cue, Onboard and the applicant experience. Cue Connectors are the headline: the assistant could previously only reach what lived inside Fountain, and now connects to external tools. Alongside them, I-9 and W-4 cases can be restarted from an automation rule instead of by hand, rehire matching respects legal-entity boundaries so I-9 records file under the correct employer, Onboard gained controls over which workers a new flow version applies to and how recently a task must have been completed for a rehire's answers to be reused, and applicant consent for SMS and calls was clarified. The bodies are truncated summaries linking out, so scope beyond each headline is not readable here.

What is Spinify?

Spinify's feed publishes gamification marketing content and no product releases

The window holds two same-day articles — nine sales metrics gamification is claimed to improve, and a piece on gamification in real estate — sitting on top of an older set covering sales incentive programs, data-driven enablement, and AI sales coaching. The product is described in passing as turning CRM data into leaderboards, competitions, and automated recognition, but no entry announces a change to it.

Fountain vs Spinify: editorial side-by-side

F6.3

Cue stops being confined to Fountain and reaches the tools where the work happens.

◆ Current state

◆ Where it's heading

Two things are being built at once for the same high-volume hiring operation. The compliance layer keeps hardening around employment paperwork — automated restarts, entity-correct rehire matching, consent clarity — which is unglamorous work that only matters when an audit arrives. Cue is the other track and it just changed shape: an assistant limited to its own product is a feature, while one that reaches the tools a team already uses is an integration surface. Following scheduled tasks in July, Cue is accumulating the properties of an agent rather than a chat box.

◆ Prediction

Expect the connector list to be named and expanded in the coming releases, since a connector framework is only as useful as the specific tools on it, and expect Cue's scheduled tasks to start acting through those connectors rather than only inside Fountain.

S5.0

Spinify's feed publishes gamification marketing content and no product releases

◆ Current state

The window holds two same-day articles — nine sales metrics gamification is claimed to improve, and a piece on gamification in real estate — sitting on top of an older set covering sales incentive programs, data-driven enablement, and AI sales coaching. The product is described in passing as turning CRM data into leaderboards, competitions, and automated recognition, but no entry announces a change to it.

◆ Where it's heading

Publishing is sporadic and clustered: two posts minutes apart in August after a gap since July, and before that a batch dating to mid-2025. The consistent theme is motivation tooling for sales teams, with AI coaching as the newer angle. As a signal channel this tracks marketing activity, not engineering output.

◆ Prediction

Expect further vertical-specific gamification pieces following the real estate template, published in clusters rather than on a regular cadence. Nothing here indicates what is changing in the product.
