Twenty
Twenty 2.50 lets app front components read the host route, filling a gap in its app platform.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Folk and OroCRM — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
folk's MCP connector can now create and update CRM records in bulk for AI agents.
folk is a lightweight relationship CRM that has spent the summer widening its surface: a mobile app with card scanning and talk-to-text, Tasks, an Interactions API and MCP connector, and EU data residency. October added phone-number lookup, calling with call recording, a field-sales feature roundup, and now bulk create and update through the MCP connector.
OroCRM pushes enterprise readiness with SCIM provisioning and built-in invoicing
OroCRM is advancing on parallel tracks: a 7.0 release candidate maturing the API layer, a 6.1 line adding native invoicing, and enterprise identity work via SCIM user provisioning. The entries skew toward platform and integration depth rather than front-end features.

October added phone-number lookup, calling with call recording, a field-sales feature roundup, and now bulk create and update through the MCP connector.
Two tracks run together: the prospecting loop for human reps (find, enrich, call, follow up) and an agent interface that started read-only with interaction insights and now writes records in bulk. The MCP work makes folk usable as a data store behind outside AI agents, not just a UI for people.
Expect the MCP connector to gain more write operations, such as tasks or interactions, and recorded calls to surface through the API. The entries don't show whether agent access will be priced separately.

The direction is enterprise B2B commerce maturity — automated user lifecycle (SCIM), invoice generation and delivery inside the CRM, and a more capable API (meta filters, UUID types). Oro is positioning as a back-office platform, not just a CRM.
Expect 7.0 to GA with the expanded API surface, and SCIM plus invoicing to anchor Oro's enterprise and commerce pitch.
