Close CRM
Close is turning Chloe and its voice agents into the CRM's working layer.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cognism and Twenty — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cognism's feed is a content-marketing channel, not a changelog — no product changes reach it.
Every entry in this feed is search-targeted editorial about B2B data quality, enrichment and CRM hygiene, plus the occasional customer-win announcement. Nothing here describes a change to the Cognism product: no release notes, no version tags, no feature descriptions. The publishing cadence is high — two posts on 14 August alone — but it measures the marketing team's output, not engineering's.
Twenty keeps shipping 2.45 patches while the validation-rule series waits on part five.
Twenty has released six 2.45 patches in four days. They cover lighter MCP tool schemas, faster markdown parsing, longer-lived workspace caches, flag-derived role and resolver caches, and a workflow version-view UI fix. The one feature-level change is still the validation-rule builder consolidated into a single preview card (part 4 of 5).

The editorial line has drifted toward AI readiness and GTM alignment, arguing that data quality is a precondition for AI-driven revenue workflows rather than a standalone purchase. That is positioning, and it tells you what Cognism wants to sell against, but it is not evidence of shipped capability. Until the feed points at a real changelog, this product's activity here cannot be read as product velocity.
Expect the same two-to-three posts a week on data quality, enrichment and AI-readiness themes. Any actual product change would have to surface through a different source; this feed will not show it.

After 2.42-2.43 moved AI chat threads into the workspace schema, the team is paying down caching and performance cost in small daily releases. Workflow UI polish in 2.45.6 shows attention moving to the automation surface alongside data-model governance. The SDK continues to version in lockstep with the app.
The fifth validation-rule PR and the 'contract' step of the chat-thread migration are the next visible milestones; neither has appeared in the entries yet, so timing is unclear.
