The 8.10 line is in hardening, not expansion. The recurring theme across the fixes is multi-tenancy and cluster membership — physical tenants appearing in configuration validation, RDBMS table prefixes, Swagger routes and snapshot isolation, alongside repeated Raft membership repair. That is the cost profile of a distributed engine absorbing a tenancy model, and it is where the effort has gone all cycle.
Expect 8.10 to reach a release candidate and then general availability on the strength of this fix backlog rather than another feature alpha, with the tenancy and Raft membership work continuing to dominate the notes.
