Tolgee
Tolgee ships four patch releases in a day, mostly security bumps and branching fixes.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cloudflare Tunnel and Hatchet — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cloudflare Tunnel reaches its fifth October release, still with checksums only.
cloudflared shipped 2026.10.3 on October 21 and 2026.10.4 on October 26, both published with package checksums and no change notes. That makes five releases this month.
Hatchet is shipping engine patches almost daily as it opens the scheduler to outside operators.
Hatchet is a task orchestration engine with durable execution, DAGs, cron and rate limits, shipped as a fast-moving open-source release train. In three days it cut seven engine releases, most of them narrow fixes to the DAG operator, durable waits, error passthrough and the cron ticker. The Python SDK keeps pace with flow-control features.

The release cadence has picked up from about two releases a month to roughly one a week in October, but the GitHub release notes say nothing about what changed. Readers can track only cadence from this feed.
Unclear from these entries; expect further note-free point releases at a weekly pace.

The 0.113.0 serverless operator, a gRPC service that lets operators run outside the engine, set the direction: Hatchet is turning its scheduler into a platform that external runtimes plug into. The patches since then harden that path, especially durable streams and DAG output handling, and add finer flow control such as pausing rate-limited queues.
Expect more durable-stream and operator fixes in the 0.113–0.114 line, followed by SDK support that makes out-of-process operators usable without hand-written gRPC.
