Distributed task queue and workflow orchestration platform

Hatchet is shipping engine patches almost daily as it opens the scheduler to outside operators.

◆Current state
Hatchet is a task orchestration engine with durable execution, DAGs, cron and rate limits, shipped as a fast-moving open-source release train. In three days it cut seven engine releases, most of them narrow fixes to the DAG operator, durable waits, error passthrough and the cron ticker. The Python SDK keeps pace with flow-control features.
◆Where it's heading
The 0.113.0 serverless operator, a gRPC service that lets operators run outside the engine, set the direction: Hatchet is turning its scheduler into a platform that external runtimes plug into. The patches since then harden that path, especially durable streams and DAG output handling, and add finer flow control such as pausing rate-limited queues.
◆Prediction
Expect more durable-stream and operator fixes in the 0.113–0.114 line, followed by SDK support that makes out-of-process operators usable without hand-written gRPC.

v0.114.0 adds batched publishing for durable streams

Publishers can now batch messages onto durable streams, which cuts round-trips for high-volume producers. It extends the durable-execution work that the recent operator releases depend on.

Ticker stops rewriting cron rows it already owns

The ticker stops rewriting cron and scheduled rows it already owns. That trims database writes, but users won't see a difference.

    Engine passes errors through verbatim

Engine errors now reach the caller verbatim instead of being rewritten. It's a small debugging fix during a run of rapid patches.

DAG operator returns empty outputs correctly

The DAG operator now returns outputs even when they are empty. It's a correctness patch on the operator path introduced in 0.113.0.

    Python SDK 1.43.0

The Python SDK adds rate-limit pausing, so queued runs that use a rate-limit key wait until a given time before starting. It hands teams a direct control for backing off a throttled upstream API, which fits Hatchet's growing flow-control toolkit.

v0.113.3: feat(engine): index cron names for search (#5267)

Cron names are now indexed for search, which helps teams that run many scheduled jobs find them in the dashboard. It's a modest operability gain.
