Kinsta
Kinsta builds out operator controls: emergency suspension, bulk actions and disaster recovery.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Chromatic and Redocly — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Chromatic lets teams merge past flaky tests and fix them later.
Chromatic now quarantines flaky tests so a pull request isn't blocked while a flake is tracked for later. This follows a run of flake-focused work: automatic tracing in April, automatic filtering in July, and now quarantine. The bigger structural moves this year were Vitest Browser Mode support in September and a React Native preview in May, both taking Chromatic beyond Storybook.
Redocly is in a maintenance groove: daily Reunite fixes and a config schema that keeps getting tidier.
Redocly ships to Reunite and @redocly/config almost every day, mostly as single-fix releases. The visible work this week is a rebuilt pull-request diff view in Reunite, a SCIM group-sync fix that had been removing members from other teams, and steady cleanup of the redocly.yaml schema, including dropping the recheck baseline option.

This follows a run of flake-focused work: automatic tracing in April, automatic filtering in July, and now quarantine. The bigger structural moves this year were Vitest Browser Mode support in September and a React Native preview in May, both taking Chromatic beyond Storybook.
Chromatic is spreading in two directions at once: more test runners and platforms (Vitest, React Native) and fewer reasons for CI to block on noise. Together they position it as a visual-testing layer that doesn't depend on Storybook and is built for large, noisy suites.
React Native visual testing is the open thread: it has been in preview since May while Vitest went from preview to launch in about three months, so a broader React Native release is the most likely next large move.
Two threads are running at once: Reunite is being hardened as a team collaboration surface (PR review, SCIM, webhook diagnostics), and the config package is being reshaped so other tools can reuse its validation, with recheck and Overlays as the newest config areas. Neither thread shows a new product direction. This is consolidation work.
Expect more recheck-related config changes and further Reunite review-workflow polish. The entries give no sign of a larger launch in the near term.
