Caddy 2.11's betas add ECH key rotation and a release process without its founder.
Caddy's tracked entries are the two 2.11 betas from December 2025 and January 2026. Beta 1 was the first release cut by the maintainer team's automated process without the original author, and brought time-based log rolling, argon2id basic auth and named socket activation. Beta 2 added ECH key rotation, multiple intermediates in PKI signing chains and a fix for the ZeroSSL issuer.
Expo keeps building EAS into an operations platform; the dashboard gets a tidier settings menu.
Expo is consolidating around EAS as an operations platform: Observe went GA in August, picked up a one-command PostHog hookup in September, and now records native crashes alongside JavaScript errors. SDK 58 is in beta. The latest entry is housekeeping, a refreshed settings navigation on expo.dev.

Caddy is investing in privacy-preserving TLS through Encrypted ClientHello, and in project continuity through a team-run release pipeline. The rest of the betas are edge-case fixes, consistent with a mature server polishing details.
The beta notes point to a 2.11 stable release; no newer entries are tracked, so its timing isn't visible here.

The direction is post-build observability: Expo wants the service that builds and ships an app to also tell you when it breaks in production. Native crash coverage closes the most obvious gap that would have pushed teams to a separate crash reporter. AI work has shifted from owning an agent to being reachable from other people's agents.
Expect SDK 58 to reach stable with EAS Observe support wired in by default, and Observe to add more release-correlation features that tie crashes to specific EAS updates.
