Exoscale
Exoscale lets customers keep their own encryption keys outside its cloud.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Bitbucket and Meilisearch — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Bitbucket is rebuilding Pipelines as a place where agents run, not just where builds run.
Agentic Pipelines is now generally available on all paid Cloud plans, on Atlassian's cloud runners or self-hosted Linux Docker runners. Around it, Bitbucket shipped task-specific agents for test optimization and cleanup, a connection to the redesigned Atlassian MCP for Claude and Codex agents, and public Merge Queue APIs. A visual refresh of the Pipelines UI rounds out a busy month.
Meilisearch follows two feature minors with paired security patches across both lines.
Meilisearch shipped two stable minors in October: v1.55 added inline dynamic search rules on the Enterprise Edition, and v1.56 added sampled facet counts and early give-up when an embedder can't keep up. On 2 November it cut v1.56.1 and v1.55.1 minutes apart, both flagged as security releases. The fix bounds the memory and runtime of long filter expressions, and v1.56.1 also fixes ranking scores above 1 and a panic after adding new nested fields.

Bitbucket is treating CI as the execution layer for scheduled and event-driven agents, with test maintenance as the first proving ground. Support for outside agents through MCP suggests Atlassian is choosing to host whichever agent teams prefer rather than lock them to Rovo. Merge Queues and on-demand pipelines point the same way: more of the merge path becomes programmable.
Atlassian says more runner types are coming, so expect Windows or macOS runner support for agents next, along with more packaged agents beyond testing.

Feature work is concentrating on relevance control and embedder resilience, with the newest controls gated to the Enterprise Edition. Patching both the current and previous minor shows Meilisearch now supports more than the latest release for security fixes. Prototype tags keep showing where the next fixes come from before they land in stable.
A v1.57 minor in roughly two weeks is the pattern; whether dynamic search rules leave the experimental flag is not yet signalled in the entries.
