InfluxDB
InfluxDB keeps patching its 3.11 and 3.12 lines, now with a catalog repair tool.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Basedash and Plausible — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Basedash adds verified dashboards so teams know which numbers to trust.
Admins can now mark a Basedash dashboard as verified, showing everyone who verified it and when. It follows Sign out everywhere, scheduled CSV exports in Slack and email automations, and certificate verification for database connections. Earlier in October came view-only members, a connector gallery, Slack DMs and an iPhone app.
Plausible removes the goal setup step from funnels.
Plausible's 2026 work centres on funnels: strict order, time comparison, revenue tracking, flexible steps, and now funnels that no longer require goals to be configured first. Around that sit the AI Assistants referral channel, chart annotations, full-URL page reports and user journeys.

With chat-generated charts making dashboards cheap to create, Basedash is now adding the controls that tell people which ones count: view-only roles, verification, session revocation and certificate checks. The product is moving from a chat front end for SQL toward a governed reporting layer that reaches people in Slack, email and on mobile.
Verification will probably extend to charts or metric definitions that chat answers can cite, with more admin controls over who can publish what.

Each funnel release lowers the effort needed to answer a conversion question, and the latest removes the last setup step. Plausible is turning funnels from a configured report into something a user can build on the spot, while keeping the product's simple-analytics position.
The next releases likely continue reducing setup across reports, for example building segments or goals inline from existing data. The entries do not show a pricing or plan change tied to funnels.
