RAGFlow
RAGFlow's post-RC1 builds stay on small fixes as the Go-based 1.0 settles.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Arize Phoenix and Kubeflow — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Phoenix follows its MCP write-access release with span ingestion fixes.
Phoenix ships its server, client, CLI, MCP and evals packages almost daily, and most entries are dependency bumps or small fixes. The substantive work clusters around tracing and agent access: a DECISION span kind, MCP tools for GraphQL schema, queries and mutations, and a wider SQL allowlist. 20.21.0 added Mistral pricing to cost tracking, and 20.21.1 makes span ingestion more reliable and accepts empty dataframes in TraceDataset.
Kubeflow's main repo is now a signpost: real releases live in seven subprojects.
The only entry is a redirect notice: the kubeflow/kubeflow repository no longer holds project code. Releases now come from separate repos for the SDK, Notebooks, Spark Operator, Trainer, Katib, Hub (model registry) and Pipelines, each on its own cycle.

The trace is becoming the main place to see evaluation outcomes and agent decisions, and the MCP server is becoming a full programmatic surface rather than a read-only window. Harbor benchmark tasks and configurable code mode for PXI suggest Phoenix is building its own agent-driven optimization loop on top of that surface, while cost tracking widens provider by provider.
Expect more Harbor tasks and PXI agent features that use the new MCP mutation tools to edit prompts and evaluators directly. Cost tracking is likely to keep adding providers alongside the playground's model-list syncs.

Kubeflow has become a federation of independently released components rather than one versioned platform. Tracking it from this repo will show nothing; the subproject repos are where change happens.
This feed will likely stay quiet; meaningful signal requires tracking Pipelines, Trainer or the SDK directly.
