Appfigures just made its app-market data something an AI agent can query, not something you screenshot.
Appfigures has spent the last year widening what its estimates cover — iPad data folded into every download and revenue figure, state-level financials in the API, a 15-report App Intelligence suite for competitor research, and Leaderboards that rank apps by explicit metrics instead of opaque store charts. The August release changes who consumes all of that: a CLI built specifically for AI agents, with a hinting system to keep them from misreading the data. The product is no longer only a dashboard.
What is Grafana Mimir?
Mimir's feed is mostly Helm automation; the real work is inside the query engine.
The apparent cadence is misleading — five of the last seven entries are bot-generated weekly Helm chart releases carrying no functional change. The substantive item is the 3.2 release candidate, which collects 693 PRs from 61 authors and concentrates on Mimir Query Engine optimizations, PromQL function coverage, and native histogram handling.

Each layer assumes the one below it is trustworthy, which is why the accuracy fixes (iPad coverage, keyword popularity, Google Play delay removal) came first.

Expect the agent surface to deepen before it widens — more write actions exposed through the CLI, and Leaderboards and App Intelligence reports made directly queryable by agents rather than only through the web reports.

MQE is where the engineering is going: added support for histogram_quantiles, a native histogram trim operation, and a rename of the experimental duration-arithmetic helpers to min_of and max_of. The chart pipeline runs on its own weekly schedule and says nothing about product direction, so read this feed by ignoring roughly two-thirds of it.
◆ Prediction
With 3.2.0-rc.0 out, a 3.2.0 general release is the near-certain next step, followed by a mimir-distributed chart release once the weekly train picks up the new version.
