Appfigures just made its app-market data something an AI agent can query, not something you screenshot.
Appfigures has spent the last year widening what its estimates cover — iPad data folded into every download and revenue figure, state-level financials in the API, a 15-report App Intelligence suite for competitor research, and Leaderboards that rank apps by explicit metrics instead of opaque store charts. The August release changes who consumes all of that: a CLI built specifically for AI agents, with a hinting system to keep them from misreading the data. The product is no longer only a dashboard.

Cube ships Creator Mode and a Slack agent — embedded BI and agent surfaces in the same month.
Cube is shipping weekly across three coherent fronts: AI agent surfaces (Slack Agent for ad-hoc questions, Analytics Chat under the hood), embedded analytics (Creator Mode lets customers embed the full Cube app, not just dashboards), and the semantic-layer fundamentals (calculated fields in Explore/Workbook, workbook versions, custom chart palettes, refined filtering). Earlier in the period, data masking, the Viewer role, and scheduled-screenshot notifications rounded out the governance and distribution story.

First they closed gaps in the underlying estimates, then they built more ways to slice them, and now they are exposing the whole surface to agents that can investigate, compare, monitor, and act — including replying to reviews and adjusting Apple Ads campaigns. Each layer assumes the one below it is trustworthy, which is why the accuracy fixes (iPad coverage, keyword popularity, Google Play delay removal) came first.

These are complementary — Creator Mode is more compelling when the embedded experience can also answer questions in Slack and self-heal queries with calculated fields.
◆ Prediction
Expect Creator Mode to grow more embedding controls (white-labeling, role mapping, audit) since it's positioned for ISVs serving downstream customers. The Slack Agent likely gets siblings (Teams, in-app chat) and tighter wiring to dashboards so an agent can produce a chart, save it, and share it back. Calculated Fields expansion (filtered measures, more types) is already telegraphed in the release notes.
