What is Adapty?

Adapty is handing paywall construction to coding agents and adding a credits economy underneath

Adapty's Flow & Paywall Builder is now the centre of the product, and August pointed a coding agent at it: a flow-generator skill lets Claude Code, Codex or Copilot CLI read a flow config through the CLI, rewrite it and preview the result. Alongside that, virtual currencies gave the platform a credits primitive, and Refund Saver reached Google Play as chargebacks there started costing developers real money.

What is Razorpay?

Cross-border collection is the whole story, and it is told entirely as search bait.

Every entry in the window targets an Indian business trying to get paid from abroad, and every one opens on the reader's problem rather than on anything Razorpay has shipped. The set covers payment links for clients with no checkout at all, Shopify card setup, gateway cost breakdowns, chargeback defence, a 90-day zero platform fee offer for new merchants, and switching on Apple Pay. Vulcan, the in-house payments model described in earlier posts as already running in production, goes unmentioned for a second consecutive window.

Adapty is handing paywall construction to coding agents and adding a credits economy underneath

◆ Current state

Adapty's Flow & Paywall Builder is now the centre of the product, and August pointed a coding agent at it: a flow-generator skill lets Claude Code, Codex or Copilot CLI read a flow config through the CLI, rewrite it and preview the result. Alongside that, virtual currencies gave the platform a credits primitive, and Refund Saver reached Google Play as chargebacks there started costing developers real money.

◆ Where it's heading

Two directions are running together. Monetization is broadening past subscriptions into balances and consumables, and authoring is moving from the dashboard toward the terminal and the agent. The one-click legacy paywall migration signals the old builder is being retired rather than maintained.

◆ Prediction

Expect the agent skill to extend from flows into the rest of the CLI surface — products, placements, campaigns — so a whole monetization setup can be generated and reviewed as config.

◆ Current state

Every entry in the window targets an Indian business trying to get paid from abroad, and every one opens on the reader's problem rather than on anything Razorpay has shipped. The set covers payment links for clients with no checkout at all, Shopify card setup, gateway cost breakdowns, chargeback defence, a 90-day zero platform fee offer for new merchants, and switching on Apple Pay. Vulcan, the in-house payments model described in earlier posts as already running in production, goes unmentioned for a second consecutive window.

◆ Where it's heading

The content is now segmenting by how much infrastructure a merchant already has, from a full Shopify storefront down to a bare payment link, which reads as an attempt to widen the top of the funnel past merchants who can integrate a checkout. Product capability keeps surfacing inside how-to guides that assume the feature is already switched on, so what shipped has to be read out of what the instructions take for granted. Checkout remains the point everything converges on, with the wallet rails and the fee offer both landing there.

◆ Prediction

The likeliest next post is another collection-path guide pitched at a lower integration tier or a new corridor, not a release note. If genuine product news appears, expect it in first-person framing rather than as a how-to, which is the only reliable way this feed distinguishes an announcement from a guide.
