The week in design

AI moved from a feature to a subsystem across design tools this week, and the most interesting moves came from products outside the usual design-suite names. darktable is stabilising an optional neural stack inside a raw editor, MuseScore added conversion of PDFs, audio and YouTube into scores, and Kapwing put an in-product assistant behind its Generate button.
