TalkJS releases one bundled update a month, and each rounds out the Components SDK and Data API: search, filters, multi-file uploads, theming and now dark mode. Platform coverage keeps widening, with Data APIs for Kotlin and Flutter, while September's OIDC SSO pointed at larger buyers.

The pattern is breadth over leaps: each month brings consumer-chat expectations (reactions, search, translation, dark mode) into the embeddable SDK and adds another platform binding. The Data API is becoming the primary integration layer alongside the UI components.

The next monthly update will likely extend October's message translation and new callbacks beyond the JavaScript Data API to the mobile Data APIs. The entries don't show any larger directional bet coming.
