◆Current state
admiralvaccine provides vaccine-specific ADaM templates and vignettes — ADCE, ADFACE, ADIS, ADSL — on top of admiral. The last two releases contain no functional change at all: 0.5.0 is maintainer handover, template fixes and lint config, and 0.6.0 is CRAN documentation compliance plus an ecosystem-wide Ask AI widget. Real work was last visible in 0.4.0's criterion-flag deprecation.
◆Where it's heading
The package has moved from building out vaccine domains to keeping them on CRAN. Each release tracks whatever admiral changed upstream and clears whatever CRAN flagged, and the changelogs have shifted from derivation notes to merged-PR lists. Maintainer churn in 0.5.0 is the clearest sign that this is a maintenance-mode package inside an otherwise active ecosystem.
◆Prediction
The next release most likely continues the pattern — dependency and documentation alignment with admiral core plus deprecation follow-through — unless a new vaccine reporting requirement forces domain work.

    Vignette references are reworded for CRAN, the kapa.ai Ask AI widget is added across the docs site, and lint config is shared from admiraldev. Nothing here changes what the package computes.

    A release note made entirely of merged PRs: maintainer role updates, an ADIS template fix, a logo, and lint fixes. The maintainer change is the only durable signal in it.

    Criterion-flag derivation superseded by admiral core

    The package supersedes its own criterion-flag derivation in favour of the generic admiral equivalent, the same consolidation admiralophtha and admiralonco are working through. It is the last release here with a real API decision in it.

    Dependencies trimmed; templates aligned to CBER guidelines

    renv files, the metatools dependency and styler are removed, and documentation and templates are aligned with CBER guidelines. Leaner install, and the CBER alignment is what makes the templates usable for regulatory submission.

    Templates track admiral API changes; test data moves to pharmaversesdtm

    ADCE, ADFACE and ADIS templates absorb renamed admiral arguments, and all dummy SDTM data is replaced by the shared pharmaversesdtm datasets. Moving off bundled test data is the more meaningful half — it puts this package on the ecosystem's common inputs.

    First release brings vaccine ADaM domains to pharmaverse

    The initial release ships derivations and templates for ADIS, ADCE and ADFACE plus vaccine-specific dummy SDTM data. Everything since has been consolidation on top of this foundation.
