The agent panel is being fitted with the same conveniences — in-thread search, terminal-thread search, remote MCP servers added from the panel — so the two surfaces are converging on the same place in the workflow.

The next steps most consistent with these entries are pull-request-level review inside the Git Panel and tighter coupling between the agent panel and staged changes, so a generated change can be reviewed hunk by hunk in the same view.
