SavvyCal lets Claude or ChatGPT book and move meetings through an MCP server on every plan.
SavvyCal ships about once a month, and its latest release is the largest in a year: an MCP server on every plan that lets AI assistants find times, book or move meetings, block time and run polls. Earlier releases were contained refinements such as duplicating workflows, locking links before an event, per-event buffers and multi-language booking pages.
Traefik v3.8 rc.1 is a Gateway API release; v2.11 keeps getting security patches.
Traefik runs two lines. v3.8.0-rc.1 (2026-10-30) is mostly Kubernetes Gateway API work: ListenerSet support, client certificate validation, backend TLS policy for gRPC and TLSRoute, and TCPRoute consumed through its v1 version with Gateway API v1.5.x support dropped. It also adds per-router responding timeouts and an ACME option to reuse private keys. The v2.11 line keeps weekly-to-biweekly patches: 2.11.61 adds an entry-point limit on request header values and fixes a backend connection leak for NTLM and Kerberos.

For most of the year SavvyCal has added control for hosts and assistants who schedule for others. The MCP server extends that to software assistants: the same booking and rescheduling actions now work from a chat. That puts SavvyCal's scheduling logic inside other tools instead of only on its booking pages.
Expect follow-ups that widen what the MCP server can do, such as more scheduling actions. The single release gives little else to predict from.

Feature work sits entirely on v3, and Gateway API is its center: the release tracks upstream versions and drops older ones, so Traefik is betting on Gateway API as its main Kubernetes interface. v2.11 is a security branch; five advisories in 2.11.58 and a CVE in 2.11.60 show it still gets real fixes.
Further 3.8 release candidates and then a final 3.8.0 are the likely next steps, with v2.11 patches continuing in parallel.
