Render's autumn changelog is plan tuning and runtime defaults while Workflows fills out.
Render's recent entries are small and practical. Key Value gained two plans and cheaper pricing on its larger tiers, Workflows can now be managed through Blueprints, Bun canary builds are supported, and new Node.js and Bun services default to newer versions. Earlier in September a dedicated Deploys page and a Flex compute plan for Workflows arrived.
Traefik v3.8 rc.1 is a Gateway API release; v2.11 keeps getting security patches.
Traefik runs two lines. v3.8.0-rc.1 (2026-10-30) is mostly Kubernetes Gateway API work: ListenerSet support, client certificate validation, backend TLS policy for gRPC and TLSRoute, and TCPRoute consumed through its v1 version with Gateway API v1.5.x support dropped. It also adds per-router responding timeouts and an ACME option to reuse private keys. The v2.11 line keeps weekly-to-biweekly patches: 2.11.61 adds an entry-point limit on request header values and fixes a backend connection leak for NTLM and Kerberos.

Render Workflows is the product getting steady investment: a Flex default plan in September, then Blueprint support so it sits inside the same infrastructure-as-code model as the rest of the platform. Around it, Render keeps adjusting plans and prices rather than adding new service types. The August build-speed gain and memory-optimized plans fit the same theme of making the existing platform cheaper and quicker to use.
More Workflows parity work is the clearest pattern, such as CLI, API or observability support matching other service types. The entries don't show the next pricing move.

Feature work sits entirely on v3, and Gateway API is its center: the release tracks upstream versions and drops older ones, so Traefik is betting on Gateway API as its main Kubernetes interface. v2.11 is a security branch; five advisories in 2.11.58 and a CVE in 2.11.60 show it still gets real fixes.
Further 3.8 release candidates and then a final 3.8.0 are the likely next steps, with v2.11 patches continuing in parallel.
