What is Prowler?

Prowler is turning its scanner into an agent that acts — and putting it behind the subscription.

Prowler still ships an open-source multi-cloud security scanner, but the last six releases have been about Lighthouse AI, its in-product agent, and the MCP server that feeds it. Lighthouse went from read-only Q&A to executing scans and managing providers, and now carries page context and reaches every tool family the MCP server advertises. Alongside that, 5.34.0 redrew the product line: CLI, Local Server, Local Dashboard and Hub stay free, while Cloud, Private Cloud and Lighthouse carry a subscription note on nearly every new feature.

What is GravityKit?

GravityKit ships weekly across a whole plugin suite, with an MCP server now part of the lineup.

GravityKit publishes a weekly Launch Log covering releases across its Gravity Forms add-on suite — GravityView, GravityEdit, GravityCalendar, GravityCharts, GravityImport, DataTables, Maps, Multiple Forms, Zero Spam, and a Block MCP server. Recent weeks delivered union support for combining entries from multiple forms into one View, rich text inline editing, drag-to-copy in the View editor, and 3D map viewport work. A large share of every week's notes is Gravity Forms 3.0 and WordPress 7.0 compatibility work.

7.5

Prowler is turning its scanner into an agent that acts — and putting it behind the subscription.

◆ Current state

Prowler still ships an open-source multi-cloud security scanner, but the last six releases have been about Lighthouse AI, its in-product agent, and the MCP server that feeds it. Lighthouse went from read-only Q&A to executing scans and managing providers, and now carries page context and reaches every tool family the MCP server advertises. Alongside that, 5.34.0 redrew the product line: CLI, Local Server, Local Dashboard and Hub stay free, while Cloud, Private Cloud and Lighthouse carry a subscription note on nearly every new feature.

◆ Where it's heading

The direction is a control plane, not a scanner. Prowler MCP is becoming the real API surface — integrations, users and roles are now agent-manageable on both Cloud and the self-hosted server, with RBAC as the only guardrail. Enterprise consolidation plumbing is arriving at the same cadence as the AI work: multi-domain SAML, Compliance Watchlist and Cross-Provider Compliance all target the org juggling many tenants and frameworks. The patch releases in between are dominated by container CVE reduction and correctness fixes in M365 and Attack Paths.

◆ Prediction

The admin surfaces not yet wired to MCP are the obvious next additions — compliance framework selection and the watchlist itself, given every other section of the app has been connected in sequence over the last four releases.

GravityKit
INFRA · APIS
5.0

GravityKit ships weekly across a whole plugin suite, with an MCP server now part of the lineup.

◆ Current state

GravityKit publishes a weekly Launch Log covering releases across its Gravity Forms add-on suite — GravityView, GravityEdit, GravityCalendar, GravityCharts, GravityImport, DataTables, Maps, Multiple Forms, Zero Spam, and a Block MCP server. Recent weeks delivered union support for combining entries from multiple forms into one View, rich text inline editing, drag-to-copy in the View editor, and 3D map viewport work. A large share of every week's notes is Gravity Forms 3.0 and WordPress 7.0 compatibility work.

◆ Where it's heading

Two things define this suite right now. First, it is absorbing a major upstream break: Gravity Forms 3.0 fixes appear in nearly every Launch Log, which sets the pace regardless of what the roadmap wanted. Second, the View editor is becoming a data-composition tool rather than a display configurator — unions across forms, field-to-field filtering, distance sorting on radius searches, and searchable DataTables all point at users assembling application-like views over form data. Accessibility shows up consistently too, with row headers for screen readers and editor a11y upgrades.

◆ Prediction

Expect Gravity Forms 3.0 and WordPress 7.0 compatibility to keep consuming release capacity until the upstream transition settles, with union and filtering work continuing on the View editor underneath it. The Block MCP server is the piece to watch — it is the only part of the suite aimed at agents rather than site builders.
