What is Stigg?

Stigg makes Usage Governance GA on every plan, nine days after its agent SDK beta.

Stigg's Usage Governance, which sets and enforces usage limits across organizations, teams, users and AI agents, became generally available on November 1 across all plans, with the API moved to v1 REST, Redis-backed client caching for faster checks, data export, and audit logs and webhooks. It follows the open-source Agent Governance SDK beta on October 23 and credit reservation and settlement on October 26. October also brought an Airwallex billing backend, cancellation controls in the app and a new navigation.

Payhawk vs Stigg: editorial side-by-side

P
Payhawk
FINANCE
5.0

Payhawk keeps widening ERP exports and adds travel policy checks against market rates.

◆ Current state

Payhawk is adding finance controls and ERP depth in small, frequent releases. Late September and early October brought native NetSuite credit card charges, QuickBooks Online card expenses, a Rillet ledger sync, PO duplication and Swiss QR-bill payments from CHF accounts. Through October it added tax-rate visibility limits, document-type field rules, a navigation redesign, travel policy checks against market rates and self-serve audit confirmation letters.

◆ Where it's heading

Payhawk is deepening accounting integrations and local payment rails while tightening controls on what employees see and spend. Travel booking now carries the same policy logic as cards and expenses.

◆ Prediction

Expect more native ERP export modes and country-specific payment methods; whether the new travel policy controls extend to automatic approvals is unclear.

S
Stigg
FINANCE
6.3

Stigg makes Usage Governance GA on every plan, nine days after its agent SDK beta.

◆ Current state

Stigg's Usage Governance, which sets and enforces usage limits across organizations, teams, users and AI agents, became generally available on November 1 across all plans, with the API moved to v1 REST, Redis-backed client caching for faster checks, data export, and audit logs and webhooks. It follows the open-source Agent Governance SDK beta on October 23 and credit reservation and settlement on October 26. October also brought an Airwallex billing backend, cancellation controls in the app and a new navigation.

◆ Where it's heading

Stigg is assembling controls for AI products where cost per action varies: reserve credits before work starts, settle after, and cap usage at each level of a customer's hierarchy, agents included. Making Governance GA on all plans rather than an upper tier suggests it is meant as a core part of the product.

◆ Prediction

Expect the Agent Governance SDK to move toward GA and more agent-level enforcement features, given the October sequence.
