Node-RED 5.0.9 lets users drag-order flows in the explorer and adds error badges to tabs.
Node-RED maintains two lines. 5.0.9 is a larger-than-usual maintenance release: flows can be drag-ordered in the Explorer sidebar, tabs and the explorer show error badges, HTML script and style blocks get JavaScript and CSS support, Monaco moves to 0.57, and CSV, Range, RBE, Filter and MQTT nodes get fixes. 4.1.17 backports only the merge-conflict resolution fixes.
SigNoz sets November 11 to drop v1 alert rules and ships Telegram alerts and GCP logs.
SigNoz ships a weekly changelog led by API deprecation notices. The October 22 edition sets November 11 for removing the v1 alert rule schema and endpoints, with stored rules rewritten to v2alpha1 on upgrade, and confirms the v1 alert-history endpoints are gone. It also moves saved views into the Explorer sidebar, rebuilds Notification Channels on the v2 API with richer Slack formatting, and adds Telegram alerts and GCP log collection.

The 5.x line is now taking editor usability work from a wider set of contributors, with six first-time contributors in 5.0.9. The 4.1.x branch stays on backports only. The feed shows no 5.1 or new major feature yet.
Expect more 5.0.x releases with editor improvements; the entries don't show when a 5.1 with larger features will arrive.

SigNoz is retiring its v1 alerting API in stages, history first and rules next, while widening where alerts go (Jira, incident.io, now Telegram) and what it ingests. The August plugin for AI coding agents remains its main directional bet; recent weeks are platform cleanup around it.
Expect weekly reminders until November 11, then a release that removes v1 rules. Further alert channels and cloud-integration log sources are the likely feature follow-ups.
