NetBird's v0.81 reaches rc.3 with nothing left but cleanup.
NetBird is stabilizing v0.81. rc.1 merged certificate posture checks backed by PKCS#11 tokens and macOS keychains, per-target HTTP access actions in the reverse proxy, the unprivileged nblink forwarder, and UBI images for every server component. rc.2 and rc.3 carry only small management and infrastructure backports. A separate canary adds time hysteresis so clients stop flapping between HA routing peers that report the same metric.
SigNoz pulls the v1 alert API on schedule and ships a heatmap panel.
SigNoz removes its v1 alert history endpoints on 15 October, closing a security-driven deprecation it has repeated in every changelog since September. Product work centres on dashboards: a rebuilt panel editor, a new heatmap panel and per-dashboard permissions in custom roles, alongside alert channels for Jira, JSM and incident.io.

The project keeps moving from mesh VPN toward a zero-trust access platform. It now checks device identity at the endpoint and applies HTTP-level policy per proxy target, not just network reachability. Alongside that, routing and relay work keep targeting stability under failover, which matters most for the enterprise deployments the Red Hat UBI images aim at.
Three shrinking release candidates point to v0.81.0 final shortly, with certificate posture checks as the headline. Whether the route hysteresis and daemon socket restrictions make v0.81 or land in v0.82 is unclear from the entries.

SigNoz is filling the dashboard and alerting gaps teams compare against hosted observability vendors, while widening ingestion with onboarding for agent frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework and Vercel Eve. Together with the August agent plugin, it is positioning to observe AI agents as well as serve them.
Expect the v1 migration banner to drop from the next changelog and more Kubernetes infrastructure views to follow the status filters and related-resource navigation that just landed. Whether the agent plugin gets follow-up work isn't visible in recent entries.
