What is Navidrome?

Navidrome patches five vulnerabilities and gets Jellyfin clients working end to end.

Navidrome's only tracked release, v0.64.1, fixes five reported vulnerabilities: unthrottled Subsonic logins, SSRF and local file reads through M3U artwork, player takeover between users, and library filters skipped on three endpoints. It also makes the Manet and JellyBox Jellyfin clients sync and sign in correctly, adds Quick Connect sign-in and LAN discovery, and lets smart playlists reference other playlists.

What is Wiki.js?

Wiki.js 3.0 beta guards against lost edits and fixes git sync across replicas.

Wiki.js runs two tracks: 2.x stable, which now gets only security patches, and a 3.0 beta still labeled 'not for production'. Over the past month the beta added Excalidraw live collaboration, SCIM provisioning, notifications, RTL support, annotations, a glossary and OIDC/SAML claim options. The newest beta stores unsaved edits in browser storage with a restore prompt, adds a visual-editor slash menu and storage options for Git-backed sites, and fixes git sync on multi-replica deployments.

2.5

Navidrome patches five vulnerabilities and gets Jellyfin clients working end to end.

◆ Current state

Navidrome's only tracked release, v0.64.1, fixes five reported vulnerabilities: unthrottled Subsonic logins, SSRF and local file reads through M3U artwork, player takeover between users, and library filters skipped on three endpoints. It also makes the Manet and JellyBox Jellyfin clients sync and sign in correctly, adds Quick Connect sign-in and LAN discovery, and lets smart playlists reference other playlists.

◆ Where it's heading

Navidrome is broadening beyond its Subsonic API roots by impersonating a Jellyfin server well enough for real Jellyfin apps to work against it. The security release shows multi-user and multi-library deployments are getting tighter permission checks as that surface grows.

◆ Prediction

Expect more Jellyfin client validation and compatibility fixes. With only one entry tracked, the larger roadmap isn't visible.

Wiki.js 3.0 beta guards against lost edits and fixes git sync across replicas.

◆ Current state

Wiki.js runs two tracks: 2.x stable, which now gets only security patches, and a 3.0 beta still labeled 'not for production'. Over the past month the beta added Excalidraw live collaboration, SCIM provisioning, notifications, RTL support, annotations, a glossary and OIDC/SAML claim options. The newest beta stores unsaved edits in browser storage with a restore prompt, adds a visual-editor slash menu and storage options for Git-backed sites, and fixes git sync on multi-replica deployments.

◆ Where it's heading

Headline features are in place, and recent betas fill out editor ergonomics, identity plumbing and operational safety rather than adding new editors. Two releases in a row have fixed multi-node behavior (HA cache sync, then multi-replica git sync), and most releases carry v2-import fixes, which points to the team testing clustered production setups and the 2.x migration path.

◆ Prediction

More betas pairing editor polish with multi-node and v2-import reliability fixes are the likely next step. The entries still give no date for 3.0 dropping its beta label.
