Kill Bill keeps two release lines alive with small invoice-template changes.
Kill Bill ships on two lines: 0.25.x tags with no published notes, and 0.24.x releases that list small changes. Recent 0.24 work is about invoices: shared tenant branding (logo, company info, colours) in the HTML invoice generator, a revert of a branding template key, and partial-locale support for invoice and catalog translations.
Shift4's Q3-R3 venue bundle gets its first global patch eight days after rollout.
Shift4 runs three release clocks: Venue bundles on a pre-release, canary and global cycle; DataNow reporting under Canopy 2.0; and weekly Customer Hub builds. Q3-R3 reached all venues on 30 September and took its first global patch, POS v2.65.4, on 8 October. Customer Hub 2026w41 leads with Payment Links for Opera.

The visible feature work is per-tenant invoice presentation, with branding and localisation becoming configurable rather than hard-coded. The 0.25 line ships regularly but its notes are bare Maven tags, so its direction can't be read from the entries.
More invoice-presentation and localisation changes on 0.24.x are likely; what 0.25.x is building toward isn't visible in the entries.

Venue releases are process discipline rather than direction changes, and the patch after each global bundle has become part of the cycle. The visible product movement is in Customer Hub, where Payment Links is being connected to adjacent systems one integration at a time.
A second Q3-R3 patch is plausible within two weeks, as Q3-R2 needed two. Whether more Payment Links integrations follow is unclear from the truncated Hub notes.
