Theia cuts a minor release roughly monthly — 1.72.0 in May, 1.73.0 in June, 1.74.0 in July — with patch releases in between. The notes are effectively empty: each entry has 'Release Notes' and 'Breaking Changes' as headings with nothing under them, followed by a contributor list and a compare link. Patch releases list bare commit hashes; 1.72.3 mentions new breaking changes for terminal without describing them.

HashiCorp is answering the question its category faces: if a model can write the Terraform, what is the platform for? The answer being built is governance — identity for non-human actors, policy that holds regardless of who authored the plan, and an audit trail that survives review. The Consul work runs the same logic at the network layer, anchoring mesh trust in a PKI the security team already controls rather than one HashiCorp issues. Stacks and restore are the scale-and-recovery substrate all of that assumes.
Expect the agent-governance story to acquire concrete product surface — named agent identities, policy scoped to machine actors, and provenance attached to plans — rather than staying at the blog-and-whitepaper level. The Consul external-CA pattern is likely to extend beyond CyberArk to other enterprise PKI vendors.

What the feed does convey is project health rather than product direction: every minor names six or more first-time contributors, and the same dozen or so regulars appear across all of them. Each minor carries a breaking-changes section, so downstream products building on Theia are absorbing API churn every month — but the entries give no way to tell what that churn is without reading the linked notes.
The monthly minor and interim patch rhythm looks stable; without a change to how notes are generated, the feed will keep reporting who contributed rather than what shipped.
