What is Grype?
Grype widens distro accuracy while each release clears its own dependency advisories.
Grype's autumn releases stay on matching accuracy. v0.121.0 carries AlmaLinux fix dates onto replaced RHEL matches and finds GitHub Swift advisories it previously missed, v0.120.0 marks SLES as a comprehensive distro and stores NVD SSVC decision points, and v0.119.0 exposes distro-fixed dropped matches through --show-suppressed. Each minor also carries a large dependency sweep, with v0.121.0 remediating five golang.org/x/net advisories.

Render's autumn changelog is plan tuning and runtime defaults while Workflows fills out.
Render's recent entries are small and practical. Key Value gained two plans and cheaper pricing on its larger tiers, Workflows can now be managed through Blueprints, Bun canary builds are supported, and new Node.js and Bun services default to newer versions. Earlier in September a dedicated Deploys page and a Flex compute plan for Workflows arrived.

Around it, Render keeps adjusting plans and prices rather than adding new service types. The August build-speed gain and memory-optimized plans fit the same theme of making the existing platform cheaper and quicker to use.
