What is Grafana OnCall?

Grafana OnCall's open-source line is in upkeep mode: runtime pins and Helm bumps, no features.

The last four releases of Grafana OnCall's open-source build contain no user-facing changes. Two Helm chart releases in mid-2025 were followed by v1.16.10 and v1.16.11 in early 2026, which pin Python 3.12.11, update urllib3, and adjust the Telegram integration's imports. The project still ships, but only to keep its dependencies current.

What is Redocly?

Redocly halves Reunite's initial download and adds an MCP-URL page action to docs.

Since the 0.138 MCP release and its patches, Redocly has shipped Reunite fixes almost daily. The Oct 15–16 releases reworked sign-in and started emailing owners when Git credentials or auto-syncs fail. October 20 brought three releases: Reunite's initial download cut by more than half, @redocly/config 0.67.0 adding Copy MCP server URL and Open in Grok page actions plus a missing-translation notice, and a fix for stale pages on default domains after publish.

Grafana OnCall's open-source line is in upkeep mode: runtime pins and Helm bumps, no features.

◆ Current state

The last four releases of Grafana OnCall's open-source build contain no user-facing changes. Two Helm chart releases in mid-2025 were followed by v1.16.10 and v1.16.11 in early 2026, which pin Python 3.12.11, update urllib3, and adjust the Telegram integration's imports. The project still ships, but only to keep its dependencies current.

◆ Where it's heading

The cadence is slowing: two releases in summer 2025, then a five-month gap, then two patch releases two weeks apart in early 2026. Nothing in these notes points to new alerting, scheduling, or escalation work in the open-source line.

◆ Prediction

Expect more v1.16.x patches for dependency and runtime hygiene, if any arrive at all; the entries give no sign of a 1.17 or a feature release.

Redocly halves Reunite's initial download and adds an MCP-URL page action to docs.

◆ Current state

Since the 0.138 MCP release and its patches, Redocly has shipped Reunite fixes almost daily. The Oct 15–16 releases reworked sign-in and started emailing owners when Git credentials or auto-syncs fail. October 20 brought three releases: Reunite's initial download cut by more than half, @redocly/config 0.67.0 adding Copy MCP server URL and Open in Grok page actions plus a missing-translation notice, and a fix for stale pages on default domains after publish.

◆ Where it's heading

The cycle is holding: a feature burst across the docs products, then a patch wave, then a stretch of hosted-platform work in Reunite. This stretch has moved from onboarding and identity to reliability and performance. The new page actions extend the MCP thread from 0.138 into the reader-facing docs UI, treating AI assistants as a distribution channel for API docs.

◆ Prediction

Expect more daily Reunite fix releases, then a 0.139-line feature burst that wires the new config values into Realm and Redoc. More AI-assistant page actions are the likely next config additions.
