What is Ever Gauzy?

Ever Gauzy is rebuilding its front page as a user-assembled dashboard, one widget wave at a time.

Gauzy is an open-source ERP/HR platform, and its release stream is a rapid tag-per-merge cascade — three versions landed on July 28 alone, most of them the same pull request promoted through develop and stage. Underneath the noise, one project dominates: a dashboard builder with an empty canvas, drag-and-drop widgets and user-created tabs, whose widget palette went from 6 to 31 to roughly 47 in under a week.

What is Engagedly?

Engagedly expanded twice in ten days: a frontline platform, then a merger with Energage.

Two corporate announcements carry this window and the rest is HR content marketing. On 6 July, Engagedly launched EngagedlyFX, a mobile-first platform for frontline workers that bundles communication, workforce operations, development and performance management. Eight days later it announced a merger with Energage, the company behind the Top Workplaces employer recognition program. Everything else — 360-feedback buying guides, performance-review example lists, skills-gap explainers — is search content.

Ever Gauzy vs Engagedly: editorial side-by-side

E6.3

Ever Gauzy is rebuilding its front page as a user-assembled dashboard, one widget wave at a time.

◆ Current state

Gauzy is an open-source ERP/HR platform, and its release stream is a rapid tag-per-merge cascade — three versions landed on July 28 alone, most of them the same pull request promoted through develop and stage. Underneath the noise, one project dominates: a dashboard builder with an empty canvas, drag-and-drop widgets and user-created tabs, whose widget palette went from 6 to 31 to roughly 47 in under a week.

◆ Where it's heading

The work is converging on making the platform's surface configurable rather than fixed. Alongside the widget waves, the UI releases add breadcrumbs on every page, a flat menu chrome, and a settings shell for plugin pages — the scaffolding a modular system needs once users can rearrange it. AI providers appear repeatedly in the fix logs, which suggests an AI configuration surface is being stabilised in parallel but is not yet the headline.

◆ Prediction

Expect the widget palette to keep expanding and then stop, with the next work shifting to persistence and sharing of user-built dashboards — that is the gap left once the canvas and palette exist.

E7.5

Engagedly expanded twice in ten days: a frontline platform, then a merger with Energage.

◆ Current state

Two corporate announcements carry this window and the rest is HR content marketing. On 6 July, Engagedly launched EngagedlyFX, a mobile-first platform for frontline workers that bundles communication, workforce operations, development and performance management. Eight days later it announced a merger with Energage, the company behind the Top Workplaces employer recognition program. Everything else — 360-feedback buying guides, performance-review example lists, skills-gap explainers — is search content.

◆ Where it's heading

The company is widening on two axes at once rather than deepening what it has. EngagedlyFX reaches deskless staff who were never the buyer for desk-bound talent management, and it is a different product shape: mobile-first and adjacent to operations. The Energage merger adds workplace-culture research and a recognition program next to the AI talent platform. Both moves grow the addressable surface, and neither appears in this feed as shipped features afterwards.

◆ Prediction

Expect messaging that connects Energage's recognition and survey data to Engagedly's performance and engagement modules, since that is the stated rationale for combining them. Whether EngagedlyFX accumulates real releases or remains a launch announcement is not yet visible here.
