Snorkel AI
Snorkel AI's feed is benchmark research and a $30M grants program, not product releases.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Elicit and Promptfoo — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Elicit's research agent now runs on a schedule and reports back by email.
Elicit has spent four months turning an evidence-synthesis tool into an agent platform. July made the API and an MCP server public, August introduced the Research Agent for decision work, September made projects and the library shared across teams, and the newest entry lets the agent create Routines that monitor for new evidence, update artifacts and email summaries without the user present.
Promptfoo's feed has gone quiet except for small fixes to its code-scan action.
The newest entries are code-scan GitHub Action patches: 0.2.1 updates type definitions and 0.2.2 mints the OIDC token after the CLI installs. The main evaluator's last visible release, 0.121.20 in July, added Claude Opus 5, Kimi K3 and websocket URL templating, following a run of releases that tracked each new frontier model.

Each release moves Elicit further from a search box a researcher drives toward a standing service that works on a team's behalf: first callable from other tools, then agentic, then shared, now scheduled. The library is becoming the shared memory the agent reads from and writes back to.
Routines currently report by email; the next visible step is likely routines that act on shared team collections or push into other tools through the API and MCP that already exist. The entries don't say how Routines are priced or limited, which is the open question.

The evaluator's rhythm is provider coverage plus red-team strategies, and the code-scan action is maintained on its own track. The feed shows no evaluator release since July, which may be a feed gap rather than a pause.
If the evaluator is still shipping, the next visible entry will likely add the latest frontier models; the feed doesn't show whether it stopped.
