Podia
Podia adds a custom terms checkbox to checkout, its fourth store basic in two weeks.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of DSpace and LifterLMS — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
DSpace patches 10.x, 9.x and 8.x on one day, with 7.x now out of the batch.
DSpace, the open-source repository platform for institutional archives, ships its backend and REST API separately from the frontend. After 10.0 in May, the September 14 batch delivered bug-fix releases 10.1, 9.4 and 8.5 within two hours of each other. The 7.x line, declared end-of-life with 7.6.7, no longer appears.
LifterLMS pauses its agent work for commerce tools and another run of security fixes
After 10.2.0 extended the abilities surface, the October releases turn elsewhere. 10.3.0 adds a Customers screen with lifetime value, order history and segments, plus an Add Existing Lesson button and refreshed course builder panels. 10.3.1 and 10.3.2 are mostly security work: REST collection checks, template loading checks and partially hidden captcha keys.

The project now maintains three major lines with coordinated patch days a few months apart. Adoption of 10.x will decide how long 8.x stays in the batch.
Expect the next coordinated patch batch in roughly three months; when 8.x is retired is unclear from the notes.

The abilities registry remains the larger structural change, but no new abilities appear in this stretch. Attention has moved to the people running a course business, with customer analytics in the admin and add-on prompts in the setup path. Security hardening continues at the same steady rate as before the abilities arc, and it again focuses on REST access.
Expect further Customers screen development, since it is new, and continued small security releases. Whether abilities coverage resumes is unclear from these entries.
