What is downlit?
downlit's HTML contract was set in 0.4.0; every release since tracks R itself.
downlit does syntax highlighting and automatic linking of R code to documentation, and is the engine behind pkgdown's code blocks. Version 0.4.0 restructured its output into the class taxonomy themes style against, and 0.4.1 completed it with base pipe support and per-line spans. This window is reach-and-efficiency: the GitHub connector expanded to 145 tools, Outlook payloads were cut substantially, and Gateway guardrails became configurable per project rather than per account.
