PrestaShop
PrestaShop 9.2 is out, with One Page Checkout, Ask AI and Extra Properties in stable.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cody and Sendcloud — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cody lets merchants describe a product row in plain English and rebuilds checkout APIs.
Cody, a white-label ecommerce platform for New Zealand and Australian retailers, added Smart Criteria to Page Builder: merchants type a request like 'black shorts and t-shirts' and Cody turns it into editable product-row criteria. It also moved every site to rebuilt cart, account, payment and freight APIs, and made Google local inventory syncing more efficient. These follow a November 3 batch with a new admin menu, free-gift promo fixes and admin login protection.
Sendcloud now shows who shipped each parcel and what the carrier actually reported.
After a summer of carrier and route additions, Sendcloud's November entries turn to account hygiene. Shipments now record which sub user created them, in the panel, CSV exports and the API v3 events endpoint. Pickup statuses for UPS and Correos now come from real carrier updates instead of being auto-marked complete after 24 hours. WooCommerce V1 is formally retired in favor of V2, which brings split shipments, barcode scanning and HPOS support.

The pre-peak work is about speed for both merchants and shoppers before Black Friday. The checkout rebuild is explicitly groundwork for the Universal Commerce Protocol and agentic checkout, which signals Cody's next direction.
Expect Universal Commerce Protocol support to be the next major project, as the checkout announcement states. Smart Criteria will likely extend to more product fields on request.

The product is moving from adding coverage toward making the data it shows trustworthy and traceable for teams with several people shipping. Live pickup status starting with two carriers suggests a carrier-by-carrier rollout, and retiring V1 consolidates WooCommerce merchants onto one integration.
More carriers will likely move to live pickup statuses after UPS and Correos, and sub-user attribution may spread to other parts of the panel and API; the entries do not say which carriers come next.
