Hoppscotch
Hoppscotch adds an enterprise cloud tier and an AI assistant, then turns to desktop trust.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cobbler and OpenStatus — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cobbler's 3.3 branch adds Kerberos single sign-on to the web UI.
Cobbler's public releases are all 3.3-branch backports. 3.3.10 adds Kerberos/GSSAPI single sign-on for the web UI through an Apache-terminated bridge and hardens the passthru authentication module against timing attacks. It follows the 3.3.8/3.3.9 pair, which brought openSUSE Leap 16 and Agama installer support, XCP-ng network installs and Python 3.13 support, and had to be re-cut after a CI publishing failure.
OpenStatus scopes API keys per resource and lets its MCP server set up monitors.
OpenStatus now gives API keys and OAuth grants one read or write scope per resource group, and its MCP server can create monitors, status pages and components rather than only reading them. This follows an October spent on incident handling: an Incident API, a status report timeline, maintenance progress notes and incident management from Slack or the dashboard.

The branch is still gaining features aimed at enterprise data centres rather than winding down: new installer ecosystems in August, directory-backed single sign-on now. Authentication has been a recurring concern since the CVE-2024-47533 admin-API bypass. Releases continue to arrive as rollups from main.
Expect further 3.3.x rollups; whether the main line cuts a 3.4 is not visible from these entries.

This follows an October spent on incident handling: an Incident API, a status report timeline, maintenance progress notes and incident management from Slack or the dashboard.
OpenStatus is making itself operable by agents and scripts, not just its dashboard: OAuth for MCP in September, incident and maintenance APIs in October, and now scoped credentials plus write access through MCP. Fine-grained scopes are what makes giving an agent write access safe.
Expect the MCP server to gain incident and status report actions next, given the October incident APIs. More granular permissions for team members may follow the per-resource scopes.
