NetBox 4.7's patch run fixes a token leak and a broken restore path.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Cobbler and Grype — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Cobbler's 3.3 branch adds Kerberos single sign-on to the web UI.
Cobbler's public releases are all 3.3-branch backports. 3.3.10 adds Kerberos/GSSAPI single sign-on for the web UI through an Apache-terminated bridge and hardens the passthru authentication module against timing attacks. It follows the 3.3.8/3.3.9 pair, which brought openSUSE Leap 16 and Agama installer support, XCP-ng network installs and Python 3.13 support, and had to be re-cut after a CI publishing failure.
Grype widens distro accuracy while each release clears its own dependency advisories.
Grype's autumn releases stay on matching accuracy. v0.121.0 carries AlmaLinux fix dates onto replaced RHEL matches and finds GitHub Swift advisories it previously missed, v0.120.0 marks SLES as a comprehensive distro and stores NVD SSVC decision points, and v0.119.0 exposes distro-fixed dropped matches through --show-suppressed. Each minor also carries a large dependency sweep, with v0.121.0 remediating five golang.org/x/net advisories.

The branch is still gaining features aimed at enterprise data centres rather than winding down: new installer ecosystems in August, directory-backed single sign-on now. Authentication has been a recurring concern since the CVE-2024-47533 admin-API bypass. Releases continue to arrive as rollups from main.
Expect further 3.3.x rollups; whether the main line cuts a 3.4 is not visible from these entries.

Accuracy remains the roadmap, and the work is increasingly about distro-specific truth: fix dates, extended support and comprehensive coverage. SSVC data in the database is the one new kind of signal, since it adds decision guidance beyond severity. Reachability has still not moved past Go in these notes.
SSVC decision points are stored but not yet described as a user-facing output, so surfacing them in results is the natural next step. These notes give no signal on a second reachability ecosystem.
