Bitbucket is rebuilding Pipelines as a place where agents run, not just where builds run.
Agentic Pipelines is now generally available on all paid Cloud plans, on Atlassian's cloud runners or self-hosted Linux Docker runners. Around it, Bitbucket shipped task-specific agents for test optimization and cleanup, a connection to the redesigned Atlassian MCP for Claude and Codex agents, and public Merge Queue APIs. A visual refresh of the Pipelines UI rounds out a busy month.
Honeycomb's Canvas agent can now roll back deploys and flip flags, with your approval
Honeycomb is turning Canvas from an investigation notebook into an agent that works across the delivery stack. The latest release connects it to GitLab, LaunchDarkly, Stripe, CircleCI, Intercom and Amp, and several of those connectors can act, not just read, behind per-tool approval settings. Smaller Canvas work continues alongside: users can now quote selected agent text back into chat. The late-October onboarding push (guided setup, Data Pulse) is still the entry path.

Bitbucket is treating CI as the execution layer for scheduled and event-driven agents, with test maintenance as the first proving ground. Support for outside agents through MCP suggests Atlassian is choosing to host whichever agent teams prefer rather than lock them to Rovo. Merge Queues and on-demand pipelines point the same way: more of the merge path becomes programmable.
Atlassian says more runner types are coming, so expect Windows or macOS runner support for agents next, along with more packaged agents beyond testing.

The arc runs from finding the problem to fixing it in the same place. Honeycomb added MCP write access for SLOs in September, linked agent answers to charts in October, and now gives the agent approved write paths into CI, feature flags and source control. The approval model (Always allow, Ask, Never per tool) is the control layer this expansion depends on.
Expect more connectors with write actions and finer approval controls, likely including audit trails of what the Canvas agent changed. The entries don't show pricing for Canvas, so how this is packaged is unclear.
