InfluxDB
InfluxDB 3.12 brings GA auth and RBAC, then patches lost-write bugs within two weeks.
A side-by-side editorial comparison of Basedash and Grafana Loki — release velocity, themes, recent moves, and the top alternatives to consider.
Basedash gives every connector its own page with dashboard and alert previews.
Basedash has become a chat-first BI tool: the assistant builds whole dashboards, writes artifacts through MCP and runs on GPT-6.1 Sol by default. It has added a mobile Home Screen app with voice questions and private Slack DMs. The newest release, the Connector gallery, gives each data source a page with connect, docs and sync controls, plus previews of the dashboards, Slack alerts and cross-source questions it supports.
Loki's operator 0.12 tightens storage schemas and adds OpenShift 5.0 TLS compliance.
The tracked Loki entries are mostly Kubernetes operator releases. Operator 0.12.0 makes the storage schemas field required, removes expired schemas by retention period, adds full TLS compliance for OpenShift 5.0 and flushes ingesters on shutdown. 0.11.0 in August enabled multi-variant queries while dropping the experimental variants() LogQL syntax.

Most recent releases move the entry point away from the dashboard editor: into chat, into external agents via MCP, onto the phone and into Slack. The Connector gallery works on the other end of the funnel, getting data connected by showing what a source will produce before setup. The Models layer and AI Sources remain the trust layer behind the answers.
Expect more connectors and onboarding templates surfaced through the gallery, and proactive answers or alerts pushed to Slack and mobile, building on the alert previews shown on connector pages.

The operator is being hardened for OpenShift production use: safer shutdowns, stricter config validation, certificate rotation aligned to OpenShift alerts and schema lifecycle automation. The feed misses core Loki releases, so it shows the operations side of the product more than query or storage changes.
Expect operator releases roughly every two months tracking new Loki 3.7.x operands and OpenShift requirements. The entries don't show core Loki direction.
