Cloud-based server control panel for hosting WordPress sites

SpinupWP is adding management capabilities that reduce SSH dependency for WordPress server teams.

Current state
SpinupWP is systematically replacing SSH-required server management tasks with dashboard-accessible controls: PHP settings management, non-security update installation from the UI, and now site disabling without Nginx config changes. Ubuntu 26.04 LTS support keeps the server provisioning current. The redesigned Assistant and new dashboard with filtering/sorting address usability at scale — useful when managing dozens of servers.
Where it's heading
The product is building toward zero-SSH management for WordPress servers. Each release removes a reason to open a terminal: PHP config, update installation, site lifecycle management. SpinupWP Subdomains (instant previews without domain configuration) and caching improvements address developer workflow friction specifically.
Prediction
Git-based deployment or staging/production environment management — features that still require manual setup — is the next workflow gap SpinupWP could close within the dashboard.

    Disable Sites

Disable Sites lets teams take a site offline without deleting it or manually editing Nginx configuration — the files, database, and config are preserved. This fills a gap for agencies managing client sites during maintenance or transitions, where the previous options were either deleting the site or SSHing in to modify Nginx.

    Ubuntu 26.04 LTS support

Ubuntu 26.04 LTS support lands on all integrated providers with both x86 and ARM support. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS is retired as an option for new server provisioning — a clean generational update to the server baseline.

    A Redesigned Assistant

The redesigned Assistant groups similar todos to prevent long lists from burying important items, and adds quick-fix actions inline. For teams managing many servers, this reduces the time spent triaging maintenance notifications.

New dashboard with filtering and sorting

A new dashboard with filtering and sorting replaces a pagination-only server/site list. Teams with dozens of servers can now find what they need without relying exclusively on search.

    SpinupWP Subdomains

SpinupWP Subdomains give new sites an instantly accessible subdomain, removing the need to configure a domain before previewing the site. For developers building client sites, this eliminates a common early-stage friction point.

    Assistant: Run non-security updates

Non-security server software updates can now be installed from the SpinupWP dashboard, removing the need to SSH and run apt commands manually. For teams managing multiple servers, this is a meaningful reduction in operational overhead.
