Phorest

CRM
Velocity5.0

Salon and spa management software with booking, marketing, payments, and client relationship features.

Phorest keeps shipping front-desk friction fixes, now reaching staff attendance on mobile.

Current state
Phorest is working through a queue of small, concrete improvements, most of them customer-requested and most landing in the Phorest Go mobile app. The newest adds geofenced clock in/out, drawing a boundary around a branch so staff can clock hours from their phones. Around it sit client search on the diary itself, sales transaction history in the mobile client card, voice-to-text notes, pop-up client notes at booking, and locally formatted phone numbers.
Where it's heading
Two directions run consistently through the window. Phorest Go is being brought toward parity with the desktop product, with transactions, notes, and now attendance all moving onto the phone, while the desktop diary is being made searchable rather than scannable. The roadmap is visibly vote-driven, with several entries thanking customers for votes on the idea. Geofencing is the first item here that governs staff behaviour rather than easing a task, which is a different kind of feature for this product.
Prediction
Expect more desktop capabilities to land in Phorest Go, and expect geofencing to gain reporting or exception handling once salons hit the cases of staff clocking in just outside the boundary.

Geofencing Clock In/Out on Phorest Go

Geofenced clock in/out arrives on Phorest Go, drawing an invisible boundary around a branch so owners can confirm staff were on site while teams clock in from their phones instead of queuing at the front desk. It is the first entry in this window aimed at governing staff behaviour rather than smoothing a task.

Sales Transactions in the client card on Phorest Go

Past sales transactions reach the client card in Phorest Go, filterable by payment method as on desktop. Another step in closing the gap between the mobile app and the desktop product.

Find a client on the diary

The diary becomes searchable by client name or the last digits of a phone number, replacing eye-scanning the columns or detouring through the client card. A small change that removes a repeated action on the busiest days.

    Voice Note to Client/Appointment Note

Voice-to-text for client and appointment notes in Phorest Go, so notes can be dictated instead of typed on a phone. Aimed squarely at staff moving between clients rather than sitting at a terminal.

📱 Phone Numbers Now Display in Local Format

Client phone numbers render in the local format for the salon's country instead of a raw digit string. A readability fix with no change to behaviour.

    Pop-up client notes at booking

One of the most-requested ideas on the board: the client note that matters surfaces as a pop-up at booking rather than sitting on a card nobody has time to open mid-rush. It closes a real failure mode at a busy front desk.
