AI-powered event networking and matchmaking platform for conferences and trade shows

Event matchmaking software that was consolidating two products — then the changelog went quiet.

Current state
Grip runs event matchmaking and lead capture for trade shows and conferences, split across Grip Manage for registration and Grip Engage for the event itself. The tracked entries run from September to November 2025 and cover three things: moving screens into the modern Engage dashboard, tightening the seam between Manage and Engage with custom attributes mapping to custom fields and clearer sync warnings, and building out exhibitor monetization through tiered AEC Basic and Pro plans with a dedicated plans page. The final two entries redesigned MustMeet preferences and extended lead qualification to work without a connection.
Where it's heading
The direction through this window is consolidation and monetization together. Two separately acquired-feeling products are being made to behave as one, with data flowing predictably from registration into engagement, while the exhibitor side is being packaged into tiers an organiser can sell upward. The offline lead qualification work points at the practical constraint the whole product lives with: a trade show floor has poor connectivity, and capture that fails there fails entirely. What happens after November 2025 is not visible — the feed carries nothing since, so whether the plan-tier rollout continued cannot be judged from this changelog.
Prediction
No confident prediction is available: the changelog stops in November 2025, and a nine-month gap means the arcs described here may have completed, been replaced or simply moved to a channel this feed does not cover.

Recent moves

    MustMeet Preferences page overhaul

The MustMeet preferences page is rebuilt in the modern Grip Engage dashboard, aimed at managing matchmaking preferences at larger scale. Another screen moved onto the current platform, which is the migration this window keeps returning to.

    Offline Lead Qualification

Lead capture extends further into offline operation, letting exhibitors qualify leads without a connection rather than only scanning them. It addresses the constraint that decides whether floor-level capture works at all: venue connectivity is unreliable and a queue of unqualified scans is worth much less afterwards.

Smarter Sync Between Grip Manage and Engage

Sync between Grip Manage and Grip Engage gains safeguards against the mistakes that break attendee data flowing from registration into the event platform. Unglamorous, but the two-product seam is where this suite's failures concentrate.

    Registration Branding Enhancements

The Registration App gains advanced branding options for organisers controlling event look and feel. Presentation control rather than capability.

Custom Attributes in Grip Manage <> Custom Fields in Grip Engage

Custom Attributes in Grip Manage map to Custom Fields in Grip Engage, letting organisers segment signups and track registration sources across both products. The clearest single instance of the two systems being taught to share a data model.

    Meeting Location & Time Permissions

Meeting Location and Time Permissions give organisers control over where meetings can be booked and by whom. Matchmaking software eventually needs scheduling constraints, and this adds the venue and time dimension to them.
