What is Tekton Pipelines?

Tekton names a new LTS while patching five older lines in the same fortnight

Tekton Pipeline maintains an unusually wide set of branches — v1.3, v1.6, v1.9, v1.12, v1.14 and now v1.15 all received releases recently, several cut within minutes of each other. v1.15.0 arrives as an LTS with configurable backoffs, following v1.14.0 which added pipelines-in-pipelines by reference along with leaner controllers and sturdier reconcilers. Every release carries a Rekor attestation UUID.

What is ElevenLabs?

ElevenLabs is rebuilding voice agents as versioned software — branches, drafts, compiles, tests.

ElevenAgents now dominates the changelog, and it ships software-engineering primitives rather than voice features: branches, rebase, merge previews, drafts, and per-test tool mocks. Procedures compile into agent workflows, knowledge bases have crawl jobs and bulk operations, and telephony has widened past Twilio to Exotel and SIP. The speech and music models still advance — Music v2, Speech Engine — but they now read as components sitting under an agent runtime.

◆ Current state

Tekton Pipeline maintains an unusually wide set of branches — v1.3, v1.6, v1.9, v1.12, v1.14 and now v1.15 all received releases recently, several cut within minutes of each other. v1.15.0 arrives as an LTS with configurable backoffs, following v1.14.0 which added pipelines-in-pipelines by reference along with leaner controllers and sturdier reconcilers. Every release carries a Rekor attestation UUID.

◆ Where it's heading

Two things are consistent here: composability is the feature direction, and supply-chain provenance is non-negotiable — attestation is part of every release entry, including patches on years-old branches. The LTS designation matters more than the version number for platform teams, since it determines what they can standardise on without re-qualifying every quarter.

◆ Prediction

Expect patch releases to concentrate on v1.15 and the previous LTS lines, with older branches like v1.3 and v1.6 receiving fixes only until their support windows close.

◆ Current state

ElevenAgents now dominates the changelog, and it ships software-engineering primitives rather than voice features: branches, rebase, merge previews, drafts, and per-test tool mocks. Procedures compile into agent workflows, knowledge bases have crawl jobs and bulk operations, and telephony has widened past Twilio to Exotel and SIP. The speech and music models still advance — Music v2, Speech Engine — but they now read as components sitting under an agent runtime.

◆ Where it's heading

The company is converging on an agent SDLC: author in a branch, hold changes as drafts, preview the merge, compile, then test against mocked tools. Every release adds another step of that loop rather than another voice. The analytics surface — sentiment scoring, termination reasons, backchannel flags, per-branch call volume — is being built to close the same loop with production evidence.

◆ Prediction

With simulations, tool mocks and is_error failure paths now in place alongside branches and merge previews, the missing piece is a gate: expect evaluation runs that block a branch merge on regression rather than leaving testing as a manual step.
