Announcements give admins an in-product channel to their own users, audit logs gained the detail an auditor would ask for, and department search assumes an org chart big enough to need it. Read-only snapshots in the recycle bin address the recovery path - being able to look at what was deleted before deciding whether to restore it. Together these are the features a self-hosted database platform adds when its buyers become IT departments.
