opencode vs Botsify

opencode ships patch releases every day or two, and the weight of each one sits in the Desktop section rather than Core. The recent run added broad locale coverage, native language names in the picker, locale-aware plural rules, and early right-to-left layout support across tabs, drawers and session views. Core changes are mostly reliability work on provider plumbing and message ordering.

Two things are happening at once. The desktop client is being hardened into the primary surface — markdown parsing moved off the main thread, composer lag with large attachments reduced, malformed tab state repaired on load — while Core absorbs the messiness of talking to many model providers: retrying transient provider errors, preserving structured mid-stream errors so providers can retry, fixing Azure reasoning requests, discovering Modal models automatically. Community contributors appear by name in nearly every release, several with multiple merged fixes.

Expect right-to-left support to move from early to complete, since it has landed incrementally across three consecutive releases and still ships as partial coverage. Provider integration looks likely to keep expanding one vendor at a time rather than through a general abstraction.
